Hello friends! Happy Friday! I hope you have all had a wonderful week learning with Ms. Andrea and Ms.Julia! This Sunday is Mother’s Day and we thought it would be a great idea to dedicate this blog to all of the wonderful mother’s that are a part of our Sprouts community!
Engage
Ms.Julia loves to read stories and one of her favourite Mothers Day story is “How to Raise a Mom” by Jean Reagan. Do you have a favourite story? Go to your bookshelf and pick out your favourite book. Find a quiet time to read this book with your mom and let her know why it is special to you!
Explore
Think about a time that you spent with your mom that was a lot of fun.
What did you do together? Where did you go? What did you see?
Draw a picture of the great activity that you did with your mom. Then write one sentence describing your fun together.

For this Mother’s Day Bouquet craft you will need paint, a paintbrush, and a piece of white paper!
If you can, grab your dad or an adult that is not your mom and have them help you paint one hand. Do you remember doing these sorts of crafts with Ms.Julia? Stamp your painted hand down on the piece of paper and wash the paint off your hand. Repeat as many times for the number of flowers you would like! It works best if the flowers are all different colours so they show up on the paper! Once you have completed the flowers, paint a stem and a bow and leave to dry. Give this to your mom on Mothers Day!
